Career and College Information

Post High School Education for Everyone

Welcome to the Perrydale High School ASPIRE. (Access to Student Assistance Programs In Reach of Everyone) website. We hope you find the information helpful in planning for the future.

You may or may not know what you want to do after high school. Whether you want to be a painter or a doctor, a cosmetologist or a lawyer, a truck driver or a web designer, you will most likely need more schooling to reach your career goals. ASPIRE is here to help you get to where you want to go.

This program is an extension of your high school counseling department and will provide you with one-on-one assistance. We do our best to make sure that every junior and senior who sign up will be assigned an ASPIRE mentor. The ASPIRE program trains volunteers from the community to help you think about career goals and access education and training beyond high school. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering check out the ASPIRE website   These volunteers want to help you have a successful transition into your preferred field after high school graduation. Your mentor can help you through the steps of:

  • EXPLORING career and schooling options

  • PLANNING AHEAD to keep your options open for the future

  • FINDING and getting into the right school

  • SCHOLARSHIP applications
