A Little About Mr. Milburn
Eric Milburn has been the Superintendent of Perrydale School District since 2014. "He has a master’s degree in education administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s of science in biology from Boise State University." (Polk Itemizer-Observer)
This school year, 2018-2019, the district is focusing on developing the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) of all our students. You may ask, what is SEL? Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions. SEL is not a single program or teaching method. It involves coordinated strategies across classrooms, schools, homes and communities, and districts. SEL focuse on the following competencies:

Perrydale Patrons we are nearly finished with the first quarter of the year. It is amazing how time has been flying by. I have witnessed some great things happening in you child's classroom as well as in their activities. I want you to know I am here to serve our students, their families, our staff, and our community.
